With the kick off of the new year, we are launching a 4-month college internship program for our Content Team!
You'll be working closely with the founder, Alan, and his content team of tiny house dwellers, to assist in creating and managing content for our website and social media platforms—Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter! You will learn the inner workings of Dream Big Live Tiny Co. and how we operate, contribute inspiring content and ideas to propel our team forward, and most importantly, learn incredibly valuable skills in the digital/social media space that you will be able to take with you wherever you may go next!
Who are we looking for?
A college student, a grad student or recent graduate, who's trying to kick-start a career in digital/social media—a self-starter with a passion for tiny living, social media, and more than anything, inspiring others!
We're looking to bring on several interns, so if you have a specific area of expertise or interest, please let us know! We are flexible :)
Program Duration
- 4-months or the duration of your Spring college semester, whichever is longer.
- Start and end dates will vary depending on school, but there will be a possibility to extend the internship beyond this time period.
The ideal candidate
- Must have own laptop/computer access to work remotely
- Has strong research, writing, organizational and communication skills
- Loves all things digital and understands relevant social media platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
- Works well in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup environment
- Has the desire to learn about building a business from the ground up & not afraid to try something new!
- Can commit to working at least 1.5 hours per day, or 10 hours per week—for the entire internship program!
- Ideally be able to receive college course credit
Your daily responsibilities may include
- Assist with daily marketing tasks, such as industry research, content creation, and content management for social platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
- Assist with Dream Big Live Tiny Co. Blog content management and outreach
- Develop Instagram Stories and other marketing content with Photoshop
- Assist with reviewing and evaluating marketing analytics
- Work closely with the other Content Team Interns to ensure alignment of strategy
- Lead personal and/or team initiatives & projects to expand our reach
